Hi,
Well, they were from Scariff, County Clare.
It says the town name Scariff on the ship record.

That's good to know... if the name  of the ship was posted then routes could be checked for it!

Hi,
The ship was the Northampton.
As questioned in my first reply.
The ship records only state the first departure point. The Titanic sailed from Southampton, true, but it called to County Cork, anchored at Roches Point as it was too big to get up to Cork Harbour (not like in the films!) the people on the maiden voyage as guests, were shipped back to Cork, off loaded and then the passengers etc. shipped out to the ship and off to get hit with the iceburg.
Some records for Australia, have a ship name from the UK to say ....South Australia and then another ship name up to Sydney or Tasmania which I have found many times.

Advice needed please on how might my Tuohy man from Co.Clare travelled  to London to  board the ship to Australia, rail to Dublin from Ennis??  This is the section I'm interested in.   Obviously ferry to Liverpool, rail to London.

Looks like they didn't go to London!
