That would fit the marriage I found in  2nd quarter 1884 William O'Donnell to Mary Fagan.

That would fit the marriage I found in  2nd quarter 1884 William O'Donnell to Mary Fagan.

I thought from your first post that both father and son were Joseph. You didn’t mention William  :-\

Not got the certificate yet. I was only asked for help this morning.

I am absolutely sure that the few details I have are correct. The only other detail I have is that Joseph was shot in 3 different incidences in 1st World War and took on the name of a friend who had been killed so he wouldn't have to be sent back to the Front.  So there's a possibility that name changes were the norm in the family but that's just supposition on my part.
