Miller - Nairobi - 1949
« on: Saturday 12 May 18 05:57 BST (UK) »
Hello,

I am seeking details about the death and marriage of Benjamin Baskerville Miller (born 1910 Kidderminster England). He served in Kenya during WW2 and returned to marry/live with a local woman of which I have no further details. I located a notice in a Nairobi Government Gazette declaring him an Inspector of Works for the Dept of Agriculture (D.A.R.A.) 18/03/49.

The East African Standard was the settlers' newspaper of choice. Some copies are in the British Library but they're not online and not indexed, so probably worse than a needle in a haystack at present.
