Contracting those old long BMD certificates to store to file or print.

Some are from 25mm to c70mm longer than A4
Scanning these, will not include the whole form. I do not particularly want to fold them, copy each half and glue them together and recopy. Is there a 'secret' way to reproduce them.

At no additional cost, what about taking a photo of your certificates?
Try one and view then copy picture to computer prior to printing?

Scan them on an A3 scanner or take them to a copy shop and have a photo copy made at about 75%

A slightly long-winded way if you have Windows and MSOffice:

Scan the document in two halves
Open a document (I use Excel spreadsheet)
Copy both images into the sheet
Crop and move the images until they fit nicely together
Right click on both images and join them
Use the Snipping Tool to snip the entire picture and save it as an image file

Guy's solution is the most effective, but mine is cheaper if you have lots of oversized documents and time to spare.

I like Calverley Lad's solution, photo the form, transfer it to the PC, then set your photo viewer  (I recommend Irfan View) to show the image as 'screen width'.

The alternative is a time machine back to talk sense into whoever chose that silly paper size.

If you happen to have Adobe Photoshop Elements, you can scan the documents in sections (with an  overlap) and then use the Photomerge tool to join them together. It does a great job as long as there is detail on the overlapping parts for it to match up.
