Does anyone know any information about Sgt Gannon of the 3rd Irish Rifles.  He fought in Dublin during the Easter Rising of 1916.

Ancestry and FindMyPast have an army file for an Acting Sergeant Martin Gannon of the Royal Irish Rifles. He had served with the 3rd battalion in France but was on home service from May 1916 on. He was a Lance Sergeant at that time.
