A possible then RT - travelling actress is probably someone who worked in rep, which would explain why she went up to Newcastle after her London visit.  How fascinating!

I see that on the 9th January she is meeting someone outside Bouverie House,  and on 28th February she is meeting outside Benn's, so presumably she is still working at the publishing house.

On the 11th January,  she refers to Wigs coming to tea, so Wigs is a person.  Another mystery solved!

Not quite sure how to reconcile "selling programmes" with "Dress rehearsal"on 16 and 17 Jan. Maybe the Dress rehearsal is just a reminder.

Good to have solved the Wigs mystery, but I have no idea though who this might have been.

1st March Sunday - They both came round again*  asked to take Bubbles out.  I was very upset.  Shall not be in a hurry to put myself out again for Maurice.  He will ask for me when he wants to see me.

* This refers to Maurice and Phil, I assume.

2nd Monday - Ring Noreen.  Forgot.  Hairdressers at 6.30 as soon after as possible.

3rd Tuesday -  Lady Benn dance.  Had a very good time.

4th Wednesday - blank

5th Thursday - blank

6th Friday -  Noreen ringing.

7th Saturday - blank
