Hi,

I have been struggling for 6 months to get my grandfathers unabridged death certificate.
Home affairs in South Africa are "searching" continually, even though I call and escalate the request almost every week.

I am looking for someone who searches the archives, whom I can pay to do this for me.
I have search using the online search function but found nothing.

I have my grandfathers name and ID number.
I also know where he died, the hospital, and the funeral service company (all of which don't keep records)

He died in Pinetown, Durban, South Africa in 1980.

If anyone is able to help me, please let me know.

I unfortunately do not live close to be able to assist but I am South African and have used the
Church of Latter Day Saints to access records.  They are easily accessed on the web and they do have a facility in Durban.   I live in a smallish town called George in the Southern Cape.
