william harry smiths wife may / bilston?

Hello... Im after the wife of My uncle harry (he was known as harry, but his name was william harry) born 1915 and lived in ward st bilston...

he died in italy in ww2, but he was married ... to a "May" smith... I dont know where they lived when they were married, but they had a son ... Im not sure... of his name, but possibly John Smith.. again, I dont know what year he was born, but obviously before 1943...

(william harrys parents were william t and ethel tolley of bilston)

Have you looked for them in 1939

and there is a child b 1938 mother's maiden name Jetson -child's name was not John - cant post fuller details as may be living

Bingo!!.. it looks, like we have the right one in the 1939 .. as thats his exact birthdate

(its from wanting to know what happenned to this fella, dads eldest brother.. that started My family tree research in the first place ... (he was blown up by a hand grenade in Italy when attempting to cross the river at night )

One other question while Im here.. are we able to search the 1939 register on ancestry.. by street name?
