Parent Hunting Help
« on: Sunday 13 May 18 22:40 BST (UK) »
Hello!

I'm trying to locate the parents of someone but I think I've been staring at it too long!

Lily Beatrice Brown b. 10 February 1925 in Greenwich, Kent

Mother maiden name listed at Earrington (although I cannot locate a marriage or any other children)

1939 Register listed as Manufacturing Chemists

1946 marriage to George A Hedges

1974 marriage to Ernest John Bremer (1912 - 1979)

1980 marriage to Francis Samuel Veale (1919 - 1983)

Died 1986 in Gravesend, Kent

Any help would be muchly appreicated :)

That doesn't make any sense in 1939 does it - why aren't her parents shown, they must have been born well before 1918, so must be dead by now? That's a very strange page as practically every one is a closed record.

That’s what I thought too. Very strange.

FindMyPast has mother as Earrington but Barrington is easier (though I can’t find a Brown / Barrington marriage on a quick look either 🤔)

Electoral rolls show a Charles Herbert Brown with a Martha Brown living at 22 Giffin Street in 1930's.  In 1938 she's not shown.
