It reads Beriskane to me, but when you put that into Google it comes up with Borrisokane in Tipperary.

Hi,
Had to look to see where in Borrisokane, the family lived in Lorrah, Ann Lindsay is listed.
BUT, as you mentioned Clonmel there is John Lindsay who owns a lot of land in
CLONEEN in the Townland BALLINARD.

Hi Maggsie,
You helped me some time ago when I was tracing parents of children placed in the Clonmel Protestant Orphan society. Dora & Margaret Lindsay, I discovered 2 brothers as well Andrew & Dutton.Therir parents were. Robert & Mary Chadwick Robert was a Land Steward. This Nicholas took his brother Dutton to New York . This is the only clue I have to trace a location of the family .i would really appreciate any tips for searching Borrisokane records in hope of finding anything.
All the best
Kat

It fits with your tips about James Dagg who took the girls who lived outside of Borrisokane 👏👏👏

Hi,
I thought I had done work on Lindsay before, I don't keep any searches I obtain.
Oh yes, the Dagg family I remember now.
I will send a PM soon.
