The DED is Blackrock, I think, I looked for the places of birth the other night (but as my friend says I've slept since then) in the census I couldn't find the one John was born in, not sure you have the spelling correct and not sure the spelling is correct on the birth cert either.

    Catherine in Rathealy, Fermoy (she is said to have immigrated to Canada as she not showing in 1911)

born 1897 so 14 or so by 1911 I do not know when she immigrated to Canada she may have been working in 1911 in another household as she not showing with Daniel Josephine her parents

This could possibly be Catherine Looney b 1897 in 1911 LINK
