Thanks for that Bumble B

Yes that is the will I am working from

Because going through my records,  the names   Newman   Holt and Hall  all belong to my family either on a census return or something or other.

This is why I have found it all so difficult -- the children of his late wife.... began the crazy / ness -  which made me realise that the Sarah I had as his wife was NOT the mother of his son JOHN ..
She was his 2nd wife.
His First wife died and he married Sarah -- will attach a snippet...

It is so complicated - due to marriages and places  ... it is fun -- I have documentation.. but  can I prove the marriage is the correct Robert and Alice etc etc..   so its headache stuff.

His grandhildren are Robert  --  John   --- Thomas (my direct line) and Elizabeth

I have most of their bits and pieces :)
