George & Thomas Osborne - a clean up please
« on: Wednesday 16 May 18 15:06 BST (UK) »
This school photo includes my grandfather (George) & his brother (Thomas) - I assume the order of the day was "do not smile"  ;D

Can this group have a clean up please & of course if anyone is up for the challenge of adding colour that would be great.

My Try

That's brilliant Rami - a great clean-up & the adding of colour really smartens up the boys & master.
Another super one from you.

Can anyone give a view on when this photo was taken? My grandfather (born 1900) is the lad second left on the front row who looks likes he has a bruise on his head. His older brother, Tom (born 1896) is the lad extreme left of the second from front row.

Here are a couple of versions from me. I am usually no good at dating, but if your grandad was born in 1900 I would say about 1905/6 for the photo.

Both of these are super Pat & I especially love all the different colours on the second version. This photo is the first & only time I have seen an image on my great uncle Tom who died in WW1.
As always your restores & colourisation of my photos are greatly appreciated.
