Help Translating German Birth Certificate

By the way, I'm not averse to picking up the 'phone and calling complete strangers in the name of family research.

Thanks so much for your offer to contact people. I really think I need to do some more research first. I have received another certificate if you have time to help.  This German handwriting is very difficult to get the hang of. I think I have worked out all the names and most of the dates and places. I suspect the two words preceding the men's names are occupations and I really cannot get them. So would appreciate it if anyone can work them out for me.  I have attached the whole certificate again as it seems to be clearer than cutting bits from it. I am not at all sure what the small stamps at the bottom are. I am guessing the birth of children of the marriage. The stamp at the top of the page I am guessing is a death certificate number for Minna Maria. I will have to cut certificate in halves as it is too large to load.

I really hate to butt in  but I can't see where it says he died...
I've enlarged the cert on my screen and I see the same stamp as for the son on the right side, i.e. born in... and married on... I can't see anything about his death. (Or am I being daft?!)

Hi Dave and Karen,
Thank you both for your contributions.  I struggled all day yesterday with it and got the basics but I would never have got the occupations or what was on those stamps. Also I had not picked up it was the name of a ship so I was looking for Zahringen on a map.
