Maybe you need to have a minimum number of posts to get into chat. You could also try contacting a moderator.

Sami's right, you need 2 posts under your new name to get in. Just do another post.

I just found this for you. It was from Sarah to another member who was having the same problem. All I've done is removed the other member's name.

"If you get stuck in accessing your account you can contact us by clicking on the red button at the bottom of RootsChat first pages, it says "contact support"

If you do end up with 2 profiles they can be merged if you get in touch.

New members need to make at least 2 posts for any other functions ie PM's Chatroom etc
