Hello, Does anyone know any details of this female relative of mine's birth, baptism, & father+mother's names. She married William Gould [1769-1841] in 1802 in Drayton St Leonard, Oxfordshire. She lived in Watlington, Oxfordshire when married until her death there in 1849. Her year of birth estimate is from 1841 English Census data & her death certificate. If anyone has any info about this please let me know, I would be very grateful. Michael

In case you haven't got the details she married William Gould bach of Cuxham on 14 Oct 1802.  Mary was described a spinster of the parish signing with a X and the witnesses were John Molyneux and Elizabeth Arnold both signing with a X.

There's no baptism at Drayton St Leonards for a Mary Hants.

Just to let everyone know, I have broken through this brickwall at last! I have discovered her real surname is 'Hance' & this is confirmed by her baptism record on 5 Oct 1776 in Newington, Oxfordshire, England, which is near to Drayton St Leonard where she married William Gould. Her father is Stephen Hance & her mother is Ann Clark. On her marriage banns & wedding records her name is spelt wrong, namely 'Hants' !!
