Death of Cyril Frank PHILLIPS around ju - Sep 1970
« on: Saturday 19 May 18 06:21 BST (UK) »
Cyril Frank PHILLIPS death was recorded District: Derby; County: Derbyshire; Volume: 3A; Page: 664. Cyril was born in 1898 Bleper and married Doris JACKSON in 1925.  Doris was a daughter of the JACKSON's of Exeter Arms.

I am wondering if perhaps Cyril's death was recorded in the newspapers? From what I have been able to glean to date Cyril may have been a publican as one stage a beer licence was transferred to him for the Castle Tavern, Castle Street.

He also had an association with the Exeter Arms so hoping for something in the newspapers or a burial?

I will now start tracing Doris as I know veery little to date about her.

Not found anything in newspapers yet -but it depends on where Cyril lived -I know his death was registered in Derby district - but that would be place of death -which could be a hospital and not necessarily his home reg district

This may help with Doris
