L/Cpl 4/6327 - 19th R. Hussars.  Died 5.1.1919 in France.  Widow - Violet J.
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

William Commerford married Violet Jane Cobb - Q1 1914 - Brentford Middlesex - 3 a 213

Violet J Commerford nee Cobb remarried June 1930 to William R Glazier - 3a 549

Violet Jane Glazier passed away 30 July 1970 - Richmond/Ths - 5d 1824

Couple had a son John Joseph Commerford - registered June 1914 - 3a 173 Brentford.

Something seems a bit odd to me. As MaureenNY asked, I too wonder why the C?

The effects record has William Commerford with 2 Ms and as L/Cpl
The medals record has William Commerford with 2 Ms and as Pte
The CWGC record has C Comerford with 1 M and as L/Cpl

All records have the same service number.

Something just seems odd? I would expect all records with the same service number to match exactly.

Edited to add: the effects record indicates William died in France so one would expect him to have been buried there. The C Comerford appears to have been buried in Germany.
We search for information but it is up to the thread owner to verify that it is correct.

This may just be an error on the part of a CWGC transcriber assigning details to the wrong person.
I would be more convinced by the effects record.

I thought that myself. Did they issue death certificate for soliders that died overseas WW1
