Which Parish incorporates Witton Cemetery
« on: Monday 21 May 18 04:07 BST (UK) »
Hoping for some assistance to determine which parish incorporates Witton Cemetery.

Clement & Sarah DEW were buried at Witton Cemetery 1925 & 1927 respectively [FindMyPast].

Anc* have burials for Birmingham but I need to know the Parish as the surname DEW is not coming up in a search.

Just a thought  :-\  Until 1980 Witton Cemetery had three chapels on-site.  Could the burial services have been conducted at one of these, rather than in a parish church?  :-\
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Have you contacted the cemetery?
wittoncem@birmingham.gov.uk

An Anglican chapel, and a Non-Conformist chapel, and a Roman Catholic chapel were on site.

Are you looking for the Burial Registers? If so they are all online, the website is https://www.birminghamburialrecords.co.uk.

The records cost £5, I can see the burial for Clement Dew was in October 1925 and Sarah Dew's was in May 1927.

Witton is the  largest  Cemetery in Birmingham. It  had three Churches /Chapels.
Why not purchase the burial records ?
These often tell you who officiated the service, who purchased the plot etc .
Records are £4.75 each (less expensive that a death certificate ) from Midland Ancestors formally known as BMSGH
