No its the right man hes my fathers brother lol

I even went to his 2nd and 3rd marriage nothing about being divorced on certificates.

Wasn't until I looked for divorce records I found there wasn't any divorces.

You will be lucky to find divorce records not many are available or indexed

Also am I   pushing my luck here is there anyway I can find the army number and regiment of Bernard Joseph Murphy WW2.

On marriage certs he is single lol

On his 2nd marriage his wife is stated as divorced also his age varied from time to time lol.

My mother was at his 1st marriage as she was a long time friend of his wife and they worked together.

The survival rate of divorce case files is:
    1858-1927: almost 100%
    1928-1937: 80%
    After 1937: less than 0.2%
No case files survive from the district registries set up in 1927.
.......and after 1977 you can't see them and case files are now destroyed 20 years after the divorce.
So it is more likely you can't find them as they were 'lost'/destroyed

But shouldn't he of put divorced and not bachelor I was just checking his marriage certificates and bachelor is what they  state.

His 2nd wifes divorce papers state she divorced her husband because of his adultery.
She also states on the certificate that she was divorced and from whom.
