Hi

Would it be possible for someone to lookup the marriage of Arthur McEwen to Audrey Maud Verrall in the Sept qtr of 1926? The marriage district was Hampstead.

I would like to know the occupations, addresses and who the respective the fathers were.

Arthur and Audrey McEwen appear to have had only one child, a son, who was born in 1928 but I cannot find anything more re him or what happened to his parents.

I've removed the name of the son as he could possibly still be living.
www.freebmd.org.uk shows three possible children with the combination of names McEwen/Verrall

Have you looked for this couple on the 1939 register? Can't find them together. Looks like Audrey may be in Truro.

Surrey electoral rolls show that the family lived in Cheam by 1930, up to at least 1938 when their abode was 1 Tudor Close (vacant a year later).

By 1949 they were at West Drive, Epsom/Cheam; still there in 1953.

In 1955 Arthur McEwen is the only voter listed at West Drive, Cheam.

Thank you very much guys for the additional information. It was most helpful. I completely overlooked the fact that the person in question might still be living so apologise for this clumsy error on my part.

Just to go back to the electrol rolls, could it have been possible for the adult child of that family to have been living elsewhere even though they were officially registered at a particular address in 1949 and 1953?
