Info on Aton

I'm looking into some info on a house my mum and dad lived in after ww2. 21 Vassall Road Brixton. The house is no longer there it's flat now. I'd like to find some info in a old man that lived in the basement of this address. I remember my mum tell me about him. His name is Aton Ansell. I've done a 1939 register look up for the address. And found Aton was born in 1866. Looked for a birth but couldn't find one. Maybe he wasn't born in the uk. Also i believe he could of been in the boar war as my brother has told me Aton used to tell him stories of his time as a soldier. Would be interesting if anyone could find more information on Aton. His death as well as a few Electoral registers show him as Aaron E ANSELL.

There's a birth for that name in Jun 1866 Croydon Surrey 

In 1901 he has a wife Clara H 38 and daughter Gladys J 1.

Thanks I've just seen the birth now i know his name is Aaron not Aton.

You can find him now.  He lived to a good age - 93. 

Clara and Gladys are living together per 1936 electoral register.
