Cemetery Records
« on: Thursday 24 May 18 16:23 BST (UK) »
Hi

I am looking at a burial record in Bishopwearmouth cemetery and the details are given as Ward 12 Section A (e)

Can anyone tell me what the 'e' stands for?

Thanks

Sue

hi sue
in the find a grave site they have a plan of bishopwearmouth cemetery  theres a 13a and a 13a e as well as a 10a  and 10a e and an 11a and an 11a e  also 12a  but cant see a 12a e  i,m just wondering if the E stands for extension as one section filled up another directly next to it was opened as the plan shows .
hope this makes sense  ;D .
