Deciphering convict conduct record
« on: Friday 25 May 18 01:11 BST (UK) »
Hi all,

You've previously given me help with this conduct record, but there's one more thing that's got me stumped.

I can't tell if this says Bad, Bao, Bae or what it means in the context of the line.

I've tried looking at abbreviations and place names in Tas/VDL but no luck.

Just in case it help, here's a link to the source: http://search.archives.tas.gov.au/ImageViewer/image_viewer.htm?CON33-1-70,313,185,F,60

Can anyone help please?

Thanks,

Jenni

Seems to be a report on behaviour during his probation period. Having a quick look at other records, some read 'bad', 'idle' and 'disobedient'

:)

I'd say the first one is "Bad', and the second one "Bad 2 class".
Sounds like a comment on his behaviour. Oh dear ;)
