Kenninghall Vestry Minutes November 1851. DUFFIELD
« on: Friday 25 May 18 10:32 BST (UK) »
Hello,

is there anybody who could look at the Kenninghall Vestry Minutes for November 1851 (I live in Northumberland)? According to the online catalogue for Norfolk Records Office they are number PD 108/71.

My ancestor was Henry Duffield and he had recently moved with his family from Kenninghall to Edale, Derbyshire for work but had fallen ill and wished to return to Norfolk. (I can provide lots more background info if anybody is interested).

From the Guiltcross Unions Guardians Minutes Books I have viewed online it seems my ancestors "case" for poor relief was to be passed to the Vestry Meeting for discussion on or around 20th November 1851.

Many thanks

Caroline

Wow, that is brilliant!   Thank you so much for the links, that's my afternoon (and possibly bank holiday weekend) sorted!
