Richard Bradley
1571 born Otley– death unknown

Jane Milner

Spouse & Children
Beatrice Taite 1589 and Thomas Bradley BIRTH 25 DEC 1588 DEATH Unknown

John Bradley
1618–

Robert Bradley
1620–

Thomas Bradley born in Snaith
1626–1670

So here's the mystery.....the Bradley YDNA results all match the Douglases of Queensberry ex: 6th Baron of Drumlanrig, Scotland but I have traced the Bradleys back this far just want to fill in the unknowns, if possible. Also did research and located a poll tax 1379 for an Isolda de Bradlay, Snaith Parish- Rawcliffe. Is she a part of my lineage? Is it possible a child of hers was fathered by a Douglas? Thank you very much.

Have you done Big Y on FTDNA? What is your haplogroup? We have a Bradley/Broadley Y DNA group who originate from the Halifax area. Have you read the theories of Saul Montes-Bradley (some of whose statements are proven to be incorrect, but that does not mean they all are)? Have you discussed this with Philip Goff, the moderator of the Bradley group at FTDNA? cb

My cousin took the Y and its R M198. I have joined the Bradley project on FTDNA with my cousin's test results. and no I have not read theories of Saul Montes-Bradley. I have sent emails to moderators of the Bradley and the Douglas groups on FTDNA and both have come to same conclusion I have .....that there must have been a baby born to a Bradley woman fathered by a Douglas whether consensual or otherwise. Thanks for reading my post........
