Elizabeth Ross (Ms Joiner) John Joiner Ross and Catherine death 1858

Im stumped as to why these people from the same family died within a day of each other there is no mention in any of the local or other newspapers and I cant find any measles or other epidemic in the area at that time . This is from the headstone.

Elizabeth was Joiner now Ross , Catharine was Joiner and Elizabeths son John Joiner Ross.

I have now seems they died of Scarlet Fever all three of them , others on the sheets had died of typhoid Thought that may have hit the local newspapers of the time.
