I look through them, them mark them as read and they disappear, unless I am mistaken

Louisa Maud

I do the same. I try to keep them to one page only. then it's easy to skim down the topics.

So do I. I look through and open those on any boards where I think I can help, then I look at those where no one has answered, then get rid of the rest.

I wasn't online for over two weeks and came back the other day to 19 pages of unread posts. I'm still working my way through new replies  :o
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Groom, I do the same, I find those within what I call my comfort zone, I think it I had 19 pages I would make then read, then if I fancy I go through each county at will

Still it keeps us busy doesn't it, I often wonder what I would be doing if I wasn't into genealogy

I check them every day - each time I log in, also the new replies, -  usually when I'm having my breakfast, then act on the ones that interest me, and mark all as read!
