You seem to have some information about them already - what additional information are you looking for?

Have you looked for them on www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk?
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

This must be William's father? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Haig_Ferguson

Can't easily see a death for Gwen Jenkins in Scotland.

Edit: sorry, thought the thread might have the following on it but I wiki'd myself.  There is an image of the MI showing William and Gwendoline Mary (who died in 1951).  I'm sure I just googled for info on James, and found pages for William and there was some information.

Hi All,

James Haig Ferguson married a surgeon's daughter.

From wikipedia of Patrick Heron Watson, surgeon,

"They had two sons: Charles Heron Watson FRCS (1871–1959) and James Miller Watson (1879–1958). They also had two daughters, one of whom, Penelope Gordon Watson, married the surgeon James Haig Ferguson FRSE."

Just saying!

Possible marriage for Margaret P H Ferguson in Kingswood Glos.  in 1950. Kingswood reg district covers Bitton which is where Gwendoline died in 1951 ( according to information on Ancestry concerning her will).

Ferguson Gwendoline Mary Haig of Windyridge Bitton Gloucestershire died 15 November 1951 at Bristol Confirmation of Patrick Haig Ferguson retired commander RN and John Parker Watson writer to the signet. Sealed London 19 January 1952. [Calendar of Probate].

The fact that it was a confirmation and that it was sealed in London means that the legal process went through the Scottish courts, and the implication of that is that Gwendoline was domiciled in Scotland.

Just checked that both are deceased so will post details-
Margaret P H Ferguson married Humphrey L Binney in Kingswood Glos in 1950
Humphrey Lockhart Binney died in Bucks in 2000
According to gov.uk wills Margaret Penelope Binney died 24/5/2007 but I can’t see a death on Ancestry index. Possible for her in Marlow Bucks on Voters Rolls up to 2007 on FindMyPast.

There wouldn't be. Ancestry just plagiarises indexes available elsewhere, and the GRO has not released its indexes after 2005 so one searches for them in vain :(
