First World War
« on: Wednesday 30 May 18 22:00 BST (UK) »
I am researching the military hospital at Walton on Thames, Surrey, UK run by New Zealanders for New Zealanders during the First World War, known as New Zealand General Hospital Number 2 (Mount Felix).  I would very much like to hear from anyone who had an ancestor who worked there or were treated there.

Hi

I had two great aunts who nursed there but I don't know much about the hospital.
I have used a great website for some research http://www.nzans.org/

Regards
KK

Twiggytree - Thank you for the websites, I know of some of them but not all.
Kentishkiwi - Do you have further details of your Great Aunts and possibly photographs?
Graham

Another thought would be the Onwards Project books.  They contain biographies of personnel and photos where available. https://www.facebook.com/OnwardProject/

Thanks for the information.  I am not a great user of Facebook so never think to look there.

If you go on the website I mentioned, there is a photo gallery with many of the nurses who served in the NZANS. There is a photo of one of my great aunts - Amy Grace Marshall. There are two lots of records digitised on Archway which are available for viewing if that interests you
Apart from that what sort of details are you looking for??
