Baptism At Halifax

John Gilligan was born at sea 24 Sept 1820. From his school enrolment in England he was "baptised at Halifax North America. His parents were James and Mary nee Conor. James was most likely Catholic but a sister of Johns was baptised at a Methodist Church. They married in a C.OE. Church. Any further snippets that might be in his record would be most appreciated
