Marius Charles ( Ernest) Maeght wine waiter Titanic?

I have Marius Charles  ( Ernest) Maeght
Born 1872 lille France
died April 1912
as a wine waiter on the Titanic now I have search all crew records for him but cannot find the proof I am looking for, can anyone help please

He's not on the crew list as far as I can see. How do you know that he was actually on the Titanic?

Did Maurius die on 15th April 1912?

I don't see him as a passenger either

Hi yes I have him as died 15th April, I have only found him linked to others trees stating died on the Titanic and would like to find some proof of this, he was my fathers sisters husbands father so a family link

What happened to his wife and children after his death.  I can see the eldest son stayed in England.

Looking at the trees, I can't see that any have sources attached. It could just be a family story that has been passed down and changed. He certainly doesn't appear under that name on any of the lists. I also tried searching as Ernest and his age.

Thanks for looking, as you say could just be a story but nice to find out was looking to see what job he had if I could find he was a wine waiter maybe
