« on: Friday 01 June 18 15:02 BST (UK) »
What would be the explanation for no ancestry DNA match, with a pretty definite match of ancestors? Is it possible to have no DNA match?

thanks,

You have about a 50/50 chance of being a DNA match with a 4th cousin (so you'd be sharing gtgtgt-grandparents) and this relationship is more distant than that.  Sometimes you will match a 5C1R though, but it's not unusual that you don't match.

Thanks that makes sense.
