Sean Ross Abbey - man finds family after DNA test
« on: Friday 01 June 18 23:05 BST (UK) »
I thought you might be interested in this story, which was on RTE news tonight. This man was adopted and sent to America by the nuns of Sean Ross Abbey. Despite his efforts to trace his origins, and his birth mother's efforts to trace him, it was only following a DNA test that he found his birth family in Ireland. By which time his mother had died. There was no help given by the church, as usual.
Here's the link to the report:

What a great ending to a sad story, with the lies of both mother & son being 'dead' & seems this was purely all about £ for Sean Ross Abbey  :(
