Hi thank you,  yes have info from London end,  I don’t know who turned up at his wife’s flat and don’t know who Elizabeth Hardman is and why she was present at death,  I suspect Edward may have had a relationship with Elizabeth’s mother,  he was a very secretive man according to my mum his granddaughter,  seems he was living a double life.

Since you have his birth certificate with date of birth - have you found him in the 1939 register?

He seems to have been indexed as Edmund......yet another name to look for him under !

Yes born in Lambeth in 1890- mmn Gibson,they only just got married in time  :P

You will find her in 1911 the oldest child with all her family.

Mum did say that there was a daughter of someone,  presume this lady may have been the daughter,  that he treated better than my Mum his granddaughter.  Thank you all,  sue
