Thomas Clifford's fist marriage record missing

Help needed to find Thomas Clifford's born 1674 first wife, his second  marriage to Elizabeth Bedingfield in 1706 at St John in Thanet, St John the Baptist states he was a widower. I have searched the Canterbury Archives records on FindMyPast where I found his 2nd marriage but no sign of his first marriage.

Have you ruled out the 1700 marriage in Shoreham to Sara Styles ?

I see from added information his residence at this time was Erith.

Still quite a distance, but a possibility.
