I'm looking for the descendants of my grandfather Joseph's brother John Cunningham. John was born in York. The family were living in York on the 1911 census. They also had a sister born 1911. Their parents were Joseph and Nancy/Annie nee McGuire. Their father Joseph was to die in WW1 in 1916. Their mother wdudnt remarry but had two other children both girls. One was called Margaret I think the other was Doreen
Could this be your relative?

CUNNINGHAM, JOHN  WILLIAM     MAGUIRE     Order
GRO Reference: 1908  S Quarter in YORK  Volume 09D  Page 14   Order

If you apply for his birth certificate it will give you his exact date of birth.
We can then check to see if the 1939 that I posted for John living in Leeds is him or someone else.
It might also help in finding his death.

The 1939 Register is not available on any FREE site, but if you are in the UK a lot of libraries offer free access to Ancestry and Findmypast, both of which have the 1939 Register.
