Ancestry lookup request/translation
« on: Sunday 03 June 18 13:50 BST (UK) »
Hi today I woke up to some great info from Germany a brother of my great-grandmothers.  I've been trying to find her sister and descendants then someone came across this:

https://www.ancestry.ca/interactive/61350/47324_neur%5E%5Ec%5E1943%5E1-00486?pid=123476&treeid=&personid=&rc=&usePUB=true&_phsrc=QLc5&_phstart=successSource

If someone could post that and translate it, thanks!

There's the record.  I pretty much know what it says but does it list the cause of death?

James Stott c1775-1850. James was born in Yorkshire but where? He was a stonemason and married Elizabeth Archer (nee Nicholson) in 1794 at Ripon. They lived thereafter in Masham. If anyone has any suggestions or leads as to his birthplace I would be interested to know. I have searched for it for years without success. Thank you.

Hi you don't have to translate I just thought he might have died serving in the war.  Does this cause of death mean he wouldn't have served? Since he had epilepsy?
