Phoebe Jane Lewis
« on: Monday 04 June 18 16:38 BST (UK) »
I post the following as I am hitting a brick wall and I hope a fresh pair of eyes may help.  Phoebe Jane Lewis, was born Rhymney about 1879, daughter of James & Margaret Lewis of Pontlottyn.  In 1901, residing with parents at Union Street, Pontlottyn, age 22, school board assistant mistress.  On the 1911, she was boarder at Bargoed and now Head Teacher.  Phoebe died August 19 1926 aged 48.  I would dearly like to know where Phoebe Lewis was head teacher.  I would assume within the Gelligaer school system but where?  Can you help.
Regards & thanks in advance.
