James Thompson Shaw was originally from County Limerick in Ireland. He and his wife, Margaret Dinnen were married in 1870, and from another internet source, they appear to have had the following children (all born between 1871-79) :  William John , Ernest James, Mary Dinnen,  Francis Sydney and Harold Evan. When James died in 1892, he lived in Collingham Gdns, South Kensington, London. Does anyone know anything more regarding his children, eg: Do they appear in the 1911 Census, etc ? I would appreciate any help with this matter.

A wonderful coincidence - my paternal grandfather, father, and I are all named James Thompson Shaw (Sr, Jr. III), and my mother's name was Margaret.  My father's line descended from Quakers in England who arrived in America on the second voyage of William Penn.  We are pleased to keep your line going strong !
