My Sister Who Died At Birth
« on: Tuesday 05 June 18 01:08 BST (UK) »
Hello everyone!  I am trying to find where my older sister, Doreen Ann Cullen, who was born in the Bronx NY at Morrisania Hospital on December 27, 1957 and died the same day, is buried.  My parents were told nothing as to what was done to her.  I need the to pointed in the right direction.  Thank you all in advance.

Wouldn't that information be on her death certificate?  If a certificate wasn't issued then you would probably need to contact the hospital.

As Debra said you would be better to contact the hospital to see if they can give you any information on what happened to her .Some  cemeteries have a separate section for premature or stillborn babies ...

I don't think Morrisania Hospital exists any more.  https://www.theclio.com/web/entry?id=59092

Do you have a death certificate for her?

Thanks everyone.  Will look into obtaining a death certificate and take it from there.   I know NYC buried many stillborns and infants who only lived a day or two on Hart Island.
