The Edward Jones who died of fever in March 1861 died at 62 Upper Huskisson Street per a death announcement in the Liverpool Mercury on 19 March (Edward Jones of Number 1 Pilot Boat, aged 30).

There is a Margaret Jones aged 1 at that address in the 1861 census with her grandfather William McLachlan and his widowed daughter Margaret aged 31.
