Hello
Please can you tell me how many children were born to
Fredrick John Thomas born abt 1874
and Margaret Maginniss born abt 1881 in toxteth.
I have just 2 Frederick junior 1902
and Joseph born 1911.
Also Margaret and Joseph listed as an inmate..so is that a workhouse?

Unfortunately, we are not allowed to give details from 1911 census other than the indexes.
There is a Margaret 29yrs and a baby Joseph as inmates in the indexes so likely to be the Workhouse.

Looking at the information they are both on page 2 and close together.

As they are in Wavertree, this may be where the children are living:

Richmond Lodge Children's Home
In around 1899, the Toxteth Park Union establised a children's home known as Richmond Lodge on Church Road, Wavertree. It could accommodate 80 children. The home appears to have closed by the 1920s and a bus depot was built on the site.

Thank you so much. As Joseph was born in the toxteth one with his mom it would seem that the parents had died when the kids were small. Really appreciate the help.
