 i know on some of the sites florence is with a e in middle put on some there no middle name
it so confusing

EDIT William J Downing aged 5 was living in Green Lane in 1901 approx 2 miles from Florence E at Woodcock Street.

OK just to confirm some findings, who did your Grandfather Thomas Frederick Harris born 5th May 1903 marry, was it to a Flora Owen in Dudley 1925 who died 1945 Birmingham aged 41?

 that is correct my grandad died in 1980 he was married to flora owen they married in Dudley in 1925

OK so did not remarry after the death of Flora ie June 1950 Birmingham to an Eileen D.
