Whatever is the case, it's taking longer than normal to get in at the moment (unless one includes /home in the URL) but the Dashboard no longer appears for me.

I was about to say the same - no Dashboard but taking ages to download.

The site is just too "wobbly" this morning, having problems viewing Yorkshire Baptism images. One minute ok then next the site is saying its down for maintenance ::)  I open another window and all is fine again... for 5 minutes.

I haven't been able to sign in the last few times I've tried (this goes back days), just keep getting some kind of error msg.  I did just sign in now, wanted to select 1911 from the index of records to search, and the page is blue with some categories on the left side, but nothing workable.

it seems a waste of time these days.

oh refreshed page and it's returned to the usual list of records.

So that means both Ancestry and Findmypast are practically unusable. Oh dear!

I normally use https://search.findmypast.co.uk/historical-records as my bookmark, but just had a look at their "front page".

Horrible, and I've told them so.

Surely the fact that I've had a Worldwide sub for years ought to give them a clue that I don't want a "Getting started checklist" ?
Looking at ALSTON in south Ribble area, ALSTEAD and DONBAVAND/DUNBABIN etc. everywhere, HOWCROFT and MARSH in Bolton and Westhoughton, PICKERING in the Whitehaven area.

Census information is Crown Copyright. See www.nationalarchives.gov.uk for details.

Not sure about everyone else but this is the home screen that I've had since this thread started - no problems at all and I've been really pushing it as I'm checking my tree.
