Mary Dean nee Cox died in 1948..in Bilston? Her dad was Herbert Cox.

GRO saying death of Mary aged 28..free bmd saying aged 25

I'm trying to build a tree for M to trace her family. Please will you help.

The indexes were compiled years ago and have been transcribed by various sites.

The search facility on the GRO site is relatively new but based on re-scans of entries that were carried out between 2005 and 2008.

In this case, until you get the cert, you will not know which one is correct unless you know which one is right.

Yes she had the death cert says she was 25 died in Bilston the search has confused me thinking I was looking for wrong person.

Then could I suggest you contact the GRO and ask them to correct their entry to 25 as you have the cert.

Born in 1929..that makes that one 19..dying in 1948 at 25..should be born in 1923..
