Help in translating Hebrew/Yiddish to English - Family Tree research

Hi All,
I am researching my family tree records and trying to tie this in with photographs that I got when my dad passed away many years ago. My ancestors were predominately Eastern European Jews who ended up being scattered across the world - some surviving Russian occupations and the 2 world war -  but many did not (indeed whole families in some case where wiped out).

So there are some unknown pictures which are on post cards or card and have hand written text on the reverse which I believe to be Ashkenazi cursive form of Yiddish

I'm reaching out to see if there is anyone out there that may be able to help translate any or all of the text? I'm really just hoping to be able to put name to the face and maybe complete another piece of the family jigsaw

I've attached by example just one of these on the off chance

The language is actually Hebrew. I would have had more success with Yiddish.

I can make out most of the letters, but I'm not certain of all of them, so the translation makes little sense.

וזה לכד לאות כו אנב
שלקתי למזכרת קרורות השד
ונפלאותין אשר הפליא לעשות
אמדי להקג אותו מערשי
ערש דוי ולהחיני
כיוד הזה

Justin - thank you. thank you. So this is written Hebrew - At least that's a start 

There are other cards which I can't begin to recognise and may well be other dialects including Yiddish. I'll certainly try through Jewgen too (I have joined that as there seems to be other links which help with research). - I'm on a journey here and so many dead ends - but it is very interesting (and time consuming!)

Can I ask you to have a quick look at one more (I've attached) to see if you think it's also Hebrew or if its Yiddish - certainly I know my dad spoke Yiddish back in the day  (in the Jewish areas around Whitechapel) and he still used the odd words when I was very young (I think cussing more than anything else!- I never got to see it written - only printed Hebrew.

That second one is Yiddish.

It reads something along the lines:

As an everlasting souvenir
for my dearest grandmother
from your granddaughter Fruma

If I'm right, then I think I know who the person is and have a name too for the grand daughter. Of course it now leads me off to another problem which is a whole bunch of text in Polish - but that's another day :-)

would you be up for trying a few more if I post them on here? again don't know if they are Yiddish or otherwise but thought I'd ask

What was the surname of the person who wrote the card? It may the final Yiddish word that I am not quite able to read ... aynkil?t?

I'm up for it. It will keep my brain ticking over.

If the Polish handwriting is legible, then try typing the text into google translate. You'll certainly get the gist of the text.

Did your family originate from Lomza?
