Hello.  I am looking to find an obituary for Joseph Henry Chapman who died in Toronto in 1935. Can anyone help?  Thanks so much!

What age was he when he died & who are his wife &/or parents?

He died March 12 1935, was born 1875ish in Belfast, Ireland
Wife was Frances Higginson
Father was George Chapman, mother was Elizabeth Currie
Clewes - Canada
Humphreys - Surrey, Grenada, Canada
Clark - Scotland

Ahh, yes, I had seen it on familysearch but wasn't sure it was the correct person.

Known dates are helpful for newspaper look-ups as it saves much time.

Hi,

Short obit in the Toronto Star... March 12 1935, page 30. 

Says he died at the East General Hospital on March 12, 1935. Joseph Chapman, beloved husband of Frances Elizabeth Higginson, father of Mrs William Faver.  Funeral from his home 876 Carlaw Avenue.  Interment Pine Hills Cemetery. 

There is a request for Belfast newspapers to copy the obit.

March 15 1935 edition of the Toronto Star.. page 33

Under "Cards of Thanks".... Mrs Joseph Chapman 876 Carlaw Ave and her daughter Mrs William Faver thank relatives, friends, neighbours, especially the employees of the Canadian Pacific Express Company for their expressions of sympathy and floral tributes....

Don't know if you need Frances's obit too.  It is in the Globe and Mail newspaper 17 Aug 1950, page 29.

She died at her home 173 Jamieson Ave on August 16 1950.  Wife of the late Joseph Chapman, mother of Mrs William Faver (Elsie). 5 grandchildren are named.  Interment Pine Hills Cemetery.

She died at the East General Hospital on Jan 4 1990.  Wife of the late William Faver.  Mother of E, A, N, R and the late Frances and Eric.   Interment Pine Hills Cemetery
