Registration District Map giving trouble
« on: Sunday 10 June 18 07:52 BST (UK) »
S Wilson's brilliant Registration District Map is giving me a bit of bother.
https://www.swilson.info/regdistmap.php
Bring up a district and it shows the list of civil parishes in the district, then when you click on each parish name it gives you a  list of townlands and towns but that last part is not working, I'm not getting the townlands and towns.
I though it was just on the iPad so I changed to the laptop but it's still not working in firefox or explorer.
Anyone else have this problem?

Hover over any of the parishes, and you can see that they all use the same target URL as the page you are currently on.

E.G. I looked at Kilkenny.
URL is https://www.swilson.info/regdistmap.php?gregdistid=89#1

All the parishes (in the box, bottom left) point to the same URL! :-\ ;D

Needs a tweak by the site owner, I reckon.

It was working a few weeks ago or there abouts I can't remember the last time I used it, it's not just me so I guess I should see if I can report it.

Wow that was quick, heard back from Shane already, he wasn't aware of the problem and is looking into it today.

I find it's best to summarise what the problem may be (I've worked in IT for nearly 50 years; so I kind of know what to look for!).

And I've done the same on some of my websites, in the past. ;D

I haven't a clue but he said

"it was a small issue with a missing 's' (https vs http) on a jQuery library link."

I'm sure that makes perfect sense to you :D
