Help with Thomas Bernard d. 16 May 1680 - Burke's 107th Ed.Pg 489
« on: Monday 11 June 18 06:32 BST (UK) »
I am hoping someone would be able to help find information on Thomas Bernard (wife Sybil Brackstone I believe) died  16 May 1680 and it seems that he is mentioned in Burke's Peerage 107th Edition  Page 489.

Unfortunately I cannot retrieve anymore information.  He is my 10th Great Grandfather so very keen to learn more about him and his family line.

Any help will be gratefully received.

Thanks,

Hello
I also descend from the Bernard/Barnard family.
Through my 11th grt grandmother Eleanor Barnard.
She married Samuel Cotton Esq of Dadlington.
She was the daughter of Sir John Barnard of Abington, Northamptonshire 1604-1674 and his wife Elizabeth Edmondes daughter of Sir Clement Edmondes.

Are your Bernards of Northamptonshire? I know one branch were Baronets.
Have you checked Visitations for the county Thomas is living in?
